Clare Luther

Clare is a lovely woman with such a bubbly personality, and she shines brilliantly through her book series formally known as The Little Paws Hotel. Featured in each of these books are a cast of dogs who navigate situations that are focused around one particular emotional theme.

Clare’s passion is to enable and encourage children to have emotionally intelligent conversations with parents and carers. Her hope is that through these beautifully illustrated stories, told through rhythmic poetry, she can help children learn to identify some of the common emotions that they may be feeling at times and then be able to confidently communicate about them.

In this interview, we explore her journey as an author, the research and precision that goes into these children’s stories, and what it’s like to run a real-life dachshund hotel in her London home!
